Sealing Tile & Brick (interior)

Porous tile and similar materials like brick will absorb any liquid that gets on it. Below is a quick test we did to show a client how color enhancing sealer both darks the color and keeps liquids from being absorbed, and thus avoid staining. Sealers are not a lifetime solution no matter how good the marketing is, apply yearly and wipe up spills immediately to be on the safe side. Marble, granite and other natural countertop materials are prime candidates for sealing, same goes for your travertine pool deck!
